Newbie: how to get sound from a MIDI file [SOLVED] - Logic Pro - Logic Pro Help.

No Sound - Logic Pro - Logic Pro Help - All replies



  When you create a new track, choose "software instrument", then in details is is suposed to be "an instrument Plug-in". Unplug your external audio interface from your Mac. Open Logic Pro, then choose Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio/MIDI > Devices. Choose Built-In. I just installed Komplete 8 and I'd like to use some of the presets in Reaktor, but there is no sound when I press a key on my midi controller.

    If the issue doesn't occur in the new user account, settings or files in the original account might be causing the issue. If Logic Pro opens, you might need to update or service your external audio interface.
